For regular updates, sneak peaks into ongoing projects and news about books in progress.

For cosplay, sewing, and very rare signs of life.

There are two things I find hard to write: the backs of books, and this section. But considering that you're here, I'll do my very best to tell you some interesting things, other than my battle with self-centred exposition.

I want to say that I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I can remember exactly when I started writing. In 7th grade a friend of mine was reading Redwall by Brian Jacques, and had started writing his own version of it. In retrospect he had independently of the internet discovered the concept of fanfiction. I was new in town and class, and wanted to impress him, so I read the book and then I too began penning my own Redwall fanfiction. And because I hadn't come across the concept of abandoning projects yet - school projects are not abandoned, and this was my first big non-school project - I finished the thing. That was my first book, a fanfic about war, strategy and logistics. I learned from that story that I enjoyed none of those things. What I did like was my characters, their struggles and changes and passions. Oh, and writing, of course!

And I haven't stopped writing since. I do a ton of crafts, anything I can do with my hands and don't need power tools for I have at least attempted. And despite all the joy I find in drawing, pyrography, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and painting, writing will always be chief among them.
